    Really, no one cares/knows anything?

A 15 year "cancellation notice" required to Cancel? Why exactly?

    Sounds scary to me.

Rick's Rants are and always have been filmed at off angles. They make you feel uncomfortable watching it, which is exactly what his rants are supposed to accomplish.

Now back to the real topic at hand, I'm going to need to read some of the other links posted.

Considering it was published in major newspapers two months ago, I would hardly call it a secret.

As for the claims about Nexen, CNOOC and thinking this will "open the floodgates.

Green party should be encouraging this, where are they going to get the money to fund their useless social programs if trade with Canada becomes irrelavant on the world stage?
but they arent saying we shouldnt trade with china.

they are saying some of the clauses in this agreement are fucked. ie. a 15 year cancellation notice (NAFTA is 6 months). and the ability for Chinese companies to sue the government of Canada if we implement policies which impact their PROJECTED profits.

there is some shady stuff in this deal.

It goes both ways, you do realize this right? And just filing suit doesn't mean an automatic judgement.

I swear that most people in this country would rather be broke and have shit income, just so they could try and claim some moral high ground.

And the fact that they have a poor human rights record and have a different style of government means nothing.

Rightly or wrongly, I can't take a single thing that comes out of that obnoxious loudmouth seriously.
