This song was released December, 1972 - hard to believe it's over 40 years old and yeah, I remember listening to this on the radio back then...

i really like the velvet underground, and some of lou reed's solo stuff, but beyond is definately the wrong demographic to give two fucks. seriously, lou reed lived in a different universe (which is a good thing)

^ Most will only know who he is from that recent album with Metallica, and probably hate him for it.

I'm not much of a Lou Reed fan either, but still acknowledge and admire his accomplishments. RIP
