Oh my God that's so awesome!
Visiting the brew house is definitely high on my list, I love Guinness! When I was in Europe I partied one night with an Irish sorority and they weren't drinking Guisnness! Apparently, Guisnness doesn't travel well and they refuse to drink it outside of Ireland.

Yeah, I've heard people on TV say it tastes better in Ireland than here. I'd like to try it there as well.Originally posted by msommers

My family is from Ireland and I drink alot of HARP which is a lager made by Guinness and Guinness as well and I can vouch that both taste SO much better over there...

My brother is a pretty big Guiness fan and he said it was WAY better in Ireland than here.
He also said on his tour of the brewery, some guy asked to have his Guiness split 50/50 with Coke and they flat out refused to let him ruin their beer like that lol.
wow...people still watch him?
Been there, had more than a few pints there.
Will fuck off, again.

Oh my god, fuck this thread to HELL.
I want to tour the Guiness Brewery, or at least drink it in Europe so fucking bad now.
Guinness Foreign Extra Stout is usually sold in Africa and it doesn't taste at all like a real Guiness....I love stouts and I wasn't a huge fan of the Foreign Extra stouts I had. It's very common for Africans to cut that beer with 50% coke so maybe that's what the guy was thinking.Originally posted by Mitsu3000gt

I didn't notice a massive difference between Guinness in Ireland and a proper one in Canada or Dubai or Western Europe. I do get a lot of bad pints of Guiness in non-Irish bars though...whether their taps are dirty or their nitrogen systems aren't correctly configured I don't know, but I do know that sort of thing doesn't happen in Ireland!
Most pubs have no clue how to properly pour a pint either. That has alot to do with it. If the head is too short is goes flat and tastes like hell pretty quick.Originally posted by davidI
