Tissot Watch expert?

Hey guys,

Just looking for someone to help authenticate a watch I received as a gift from my last employer.

Hard to believe its real only because historically he's a cheap asshole.

Anyways, please chime in if you can help. I can post pictures of course to help, just tell me what to focus on for tell tale fake/real.

Its a PRC200 which is one of the most knocked-off watches from Tissot as I have quickly read online and it was purchased thru Ebay or Amazon.ca if I remember. He definitely didn't buy it in store.

Costco sells some too, so it is possible he bought it from there or another grey market source if it's legit.

theres a watch repair and sales shop downtown in the tower, i think its called alberta time service, he sells and maintains tissot watches, He'd be able to tell you if it is authentic.

A quick test would be to see if there is lume on the Dial Hour Markers.

Also I'm sure Justin could help you out.

I have the same watch, I really like it, although its a bit small now.

Easiest would be to call Tissot and give them the serial number on the back. They can tell you if the serial is real, if it is that watch type, and that colour.

If this doesn't work, come by the store. We can always open it up to have a look.

Gave the watch to my uncle, told him it might be fake though lol
