Buy it out and sell private or keep until the SUV shows up.
Bronco is wicked, base model manual.
Bronco is cool but has the same 2.7l baby boost , I don’t think gas mileage would be very different to the truck … bronco sport has a 2.0 l ecoboost, I had a ford edge company suv with that engine and it did not get great mileage either. If fuel economy is your goal get a Honda and Toyota or a baby duramax they get awesome mileage.

Call the dealer, get the buyout number, make a bank draft and appointment with finance person, go to dealer, hand it to finance person, get bill of sale, go to registry and remove lease from the registration.
That's not the worry. It's where the money for the bank draft is going to come from.

Dealer can most likely help refinance it for you if you need.

Yeah, I'm just not sure if it's better to go to the dealer, or my bank, and if it's going to make it more expensive, I'll probably resell it right away, or walk away.

I originally didn't have any intention of keeping the truck. I only needed something big enough to haul a dirtbike, so I was going to get a Ridgeline, but I fell in love with it, and want to keep it now, and the wife agrees.

    Then you have two options:
    1. Current dealer can refinance with typical market rates (5.9%) and know they have you by the skinnies, unless…
    2. You get financing pre-arranged from a bank (rates are usually higher), or
    3. You get financing through a credit union, or similar smaller organization

Fuel economy shouldn’t matter nearly as much as it does to people who don’t drive for a living.

    What year and mileage?
My 2017 is in the shop right now for IWE issue and got a call from the service advisor that valve cover gasket has a small leak and it's not covered by my warranty anymore.
    Cost is about $1,100.
Mine's a 2014 with about 190k on it. I'll need the valve cover gasket + vac pump on that side. The service manager told me under $1000 so we will see if thats true or not. It goes in tomorrow.

anybody with 2021+ F150 experiencing headliner rattle/clunk at the rear cloth hanger location? I kept getting rattles when going over bumps, initially thought it was the sunroof or sun shade, but have traced it to the hanging clothes hanger hooks. I can push up on this area of the headliner and hear a knock from between the headliner and roof.

That's my thought process. The couple extra bucks every trip to the pump at 13L or whatever we're averaging isn't that big a deal - If the lease weren't up it would be a moot point honestly.

Going with a cheaper hybrid that gets half that though it starts to add up as a considerable savings, especially at these retarded rates/full msrp prices.

Bronco in any trim other than the gutless 3 cyl Sport would not save anything on fuel, I agree - I've also driven the 2.0 Ecoboost and you need the snail spooling up to get anywhere. It was more of a possible cheaper option vs the $50k buyout + bank rates

Okotoks Ford. Turns out it was $1250ish for the valve cover gasket + vac pump plus labour. Parts are STUPID expensive. I have a buddies work order from when he did a pile of work to his same generation F-150 mid 2021 and comparing part numbers between the two makes me want to puke. The vacuum pump is up 156%, valve cover gasket up 100%, I'm getting my water pump done too and thats up 80%. I knew all prices had gone up but this was a sticker shock to me.

    Thanks for the info.
Good to know I'm not getting completely hosed.

Parts are more expensive and harder to come by nowadays.

Is there a separate Power Boost thread, didn’t find one? Anyway, my co-worker’s 2022 model died 100%. Needed to be towed from his garage to the dealer. Dealers says they have a couple of trucks sitting there that have been waiting for parts 6 months. Can you trade this piece of crap back to the dealer while it’s under warranty repair?
