Ranger Raptor looks pretty decent.
Meh.
I'd like to see them offered in the North American market at least.

One of my intelligent access keyfobs seems to be eating batteries. A fresh pair of panasonic batts didn't even last a month. Is this a known phenomena? Googling it didn't lead to obvious results (aside from one fat american who said something about his sweat getting past the fob seal and shorting out the circuit board- lawl).
It's roughly correlated to when my wife uses the truck so part of me wants to say user error but for the sake of my marriage I have to look into other explanations
In the exact same boat...kinda...the fob doesn't work properly for me either hahaThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Just got a recall notice on my 502a. Sound insulation glued to the bottom of the cab has come loose on some trucks and contacted the driveshaft or gas tank lines. If scoring on driveshaft continues, risk of driveshaft failure and crash.
I just checked under my truck and the insulation is still in place and driveshaft has no polished/scored marks.
If you are affected and driveshaft is damaged, could be multiple weeks for parts.
Fix is apparantly riveting the unsulation to the cab body.

I’m firmly against fixing shit that’s not broken. It has been my lifetime experience that bringing a vehicle in for a recall before it breaks, just causes more problems. The recall can cover it 10 years from now or the next owner can do it, less dealer molestation is best.
Grumble.
IWE issues with only 32,000kms. Not the best of luck so far with this 2020.
Three separate occasions of stuck injector check engine light (goes away). But now the IWEs, common on these trucks though.

Only problem with that strategy is when the insulation does fail, it fucks your driveshaft and now repairs are weeks+ because of parts availability. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

user error- i cracked the suspect remote open and see that there's a mismatched pair of batteries. I probably swapped one of two due to a shortage of batteries. Two freshies in there now. If it dies on me again, at least I'll have this post on the record so I know how long they lasted. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I was less than impressed with the TSB's solution of simply capping vacuum lines on IWEs. Mine started grinding around 45k and that was the only remedy the dealer offered after multiple complaints. Now they're quiet but they're engaged 100% of the time. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
So your trucks hubs are engaged? Stupid question, but it’s not full time 4wd is it?This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

hubs are engaged but the t-case is not. the IWEs are held disengaged by vacuum. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Stats for nerds for the 2021 F-150 Powerboost.
This is my lifetime timer as I don't reset trip 1 and has captured all but the first 50km on the the truck.
Roughly 20% of the total kilometers on the truck have been on electric power. What I don't know is is the average fuel economy factors in the electric KM, as it is reporting no better gas mileage than my last F150 ecoboost.

I think the selling point is that you get the power of the "Powerboost" with the fuel economy of the 2.7..This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
but the 2.7 is really quite capable for all half ton use case. I really miss the days where a Lariat 302a with the 2.7 was at the 50K mark.
Both this truck and my last truck were the 3.5L Ecoboost. The powerboost just has the electric motor sandwiched between the motor and transmission. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
