speeding ticket
After reading the other thread related to this, I'm wondering if its worth it for me to go to court. The other day I got a ticket for going 40 in a 30.I was about 1500 ft from the 55 mph sign. I was the only car in sight. It was $100, but in wyoming they take off $10 if you have your seat belt on. So its $90. It seemed high to me. Do you thnk I could get it lowered or thrown out? I'm hopin the cop doesn't show.

Is that Wyoming in the US??? Well we are in Canada so I'm not sure how things work down in the states... But I'd say it's always worth it to go fight it, the worst that'll happen is that they say no, pay ur fines...

cause they get caught up giving out all the speeding tickets on the way to court

Well the only bad thing would be that if I didn't get it lowered , I would still have to pay the ticket and also the court fee. But I think I'll go anyways--thanks

fight it! the worst that can happen is ull have to pay for the ticket.

Compared with our speeding fines, US$90 isn't too bad. You should fight it anyway.
