Default Please Keep a Look Out:Stolen Samoyed Dogs Calgary NW(Recovered)

    Posting this for a friend.

Please keep a look out for two Samoyed dog's, last seen in Bowness area.

2 girls were reportedly seen with the dog's in a late model blue pick-up with a large grey topper, BC plates. There are very few people with 2 Samoyed's in the Calgary area, if anyone sees 2 Samoyed's together either on the street, at a dog park or in a vehicle please call out "Murphy and Stella", they will respond. If anyone has any information please call Geoff- 403-xxx-xxxx or Nancy 403-yyy-yyyy.

    Thanks,

I take it you were home when they went missing? Could this just be a case of mistaken rescue?
Or did you watch the dogs get snatched?

hes posting for his buddy, says in the first line.

Why would someone take another pet? WTF?! i never understood.
had a guy break into my buddy's car to get his garage remote and steel his 3 month old baby pitbull that lived there. Luckily he was sold just a few hours before my buddy came home to see his garage open and his dog stuff tossed around!!

ill keep a look out !

I hate people. And people coming in from BC to steal people's pets? Ridiculous. This is why I never leave my two dogs outside without me or someone I know watching them. Having specific breads which are popular or expensive definitely do not help.

    Dog's have been recovered!

Acting on a tip that Blue truck with gray topper was spotted again late last night in Bowness area, and located this morning. CPS called to assist with recovery. Looks like dogs were kept inside the truck the entire weekend.

Stealing dogs, the bar is pretty low at that point. Excellent end result to what was thought to become a Kijiji pet sell. Name and shame time for these losers.

Wow, that's fantastic! So glad there was a happy ending to this story. Like the others above, I can't believe someone would steal someone else's pets.

Curious as well. Honestly, my first response is that someone thought they were saving the dogs from the flood, if it was in Bowness.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

same here, I let mine out in the back yard, went out after a couple mins to bring her back in the house, and she was brought out of the back gate buy a guy, and had a leash on her. He never saw me coming until it was too late and he caught the beating of a lifetime.
I wonder if it is the same guy that tried to swipe my dog when I lived in Bowness...

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

I suppose it's possible, and it's probably what they'll say even if they stole them. But if you rescued a dog from the flooding, wouldn't you take it to the Humane Society? Or at the very least, if you're going to hang onto it, report it to the police? That would be my response to that answer, at least.

In either case, once the dogs were reported missing, they would've been reunited pretty quickly.

because of the abundance of homeless animals many people are offering foster homes. and sending out "found" posts on their own. theres a few pages on FB as well as aarcs/HS/vets have been posting photo's of found animals
