Vets are mostly completely disinterested since they know now with Feaster gone most of them will be packing their bags. Same thing happened this time last year with news of an impending rebuild

i just hope that they don't accept the habit of losing and making it 'acceptable'. otherwise we're right where the oilers are, a team with talent that still sucks the big one.

I don't think that'll happen. guys like Cammy and Stempy just know the hammer is coming down and their performance doesn't matter anymore. Just look at Cammy's last few days in Montreal. He had asked for a trade and dgaf.

I can't see guys like Byron, Monahan or Hudler accepting losing

Hard to score when a large part of the team seems to have checked out.

If you are wishing anything it's that iginla was traded 2 seasons prior and kipper wasn't such a d!ck last year and allowed himself to get moved at the deadline to a team for a cup run, like Toronto. Kipper could have got us something very nice last season but he wouldn't waive.
