It seems like the only place in the city with high voter turnout was Sunnyside before the polls closed. People knew Nenshi would win and didn't care who their aldercouncil was.

When I voted there was literally maybe 5-10 people there voting as well. I had to wait in line for about 1 minute with one guy ahead of me. The whole process of actually voting and waiting probably took me less than 3 minutes. For those who complain that their voting stations were busy, you are actually given the option to vote in advance for a whole week, where the line ups are just as short.

not that gobal news is the gospel for election results but they have stated that Mar conceded to Wooley.

But Nenshi said during the speech he isn’t looking to pit Calgarians against each other.
