    Default Projector screen? (outdoor)

    Hey guys,
Working on an outdoor movie theatre setup for next summer. Any recommendations on an outdoor projection screen? I know I can use a white sheet but was hoping for something a little less ghetto but not $300...

How big of a screen are you looking at?

I know you did not want to spend 300, but this is a great product we use, considerably better than the other versions and you can order them free delivery through staples.ca

They are about 300ish and up depending on size.

Well my projector goes up to 130" so probably about 100" or so. I believe that's what I measure roomwize in my backyard. I might just have to try the white sheet set up for the first go and see how it looks. Hmm

So is this going to be a permanent thing or is it removable so you can store it somewhere? I can only assume your components will stay inside at all times?

    Good point
It will not be permanent. I want to be able to set it up and disassemble at will. I haven't tried any set up yet so obviously I want to try something cheaper first before I go ahead and invest much money going any further.

Since I remember you like building shit with wood, why not build a permanent frame in 2 of your wood fence posts? That is, you know, if you have a wood fence lol

Just a suggestion. Shit, this might actually be a cool idea lol

Ikea has their blackout rollershades on sale right now, if you're not a videophile (is that a thing?) it'll work fine!

It's not the size that matters, it's the taste it leaves in your mouth.
