New one unveiled finally. No specific power figures, but it looks 700x better than the last one imo.
I’m actually thinking about putting a deposit on one, despite how many times I said I wouldn’t own a FWD sports car.

Not to rain on the parade, but there will be less than 200/yr in Canada. So you might get one for final production year, MY2026.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Meh. I liked the looks of 10ths gen better. They need to make it AWD for our climate, without that it’s civic half the year and fwd rest of the time.
As days pass, I love my FoRS more and more.
God this Honda is ugly.
I like the looks of this one, so much cleaner. But I think the last gen was more for younger drivers. This one is for dads like me lol.
That live config is actually nice (the AR lol). I would want a black or red one.
Watch the cat for different holiday hats!
Looks better but at the same time kind of bland.

Well, definitely the GR-4 is better IMO, but probably much more expensive

A million pages later, people are still bitching about FWD.... ? do people die when they drive a FWD or RWD in the winter?
Probably wont get one this time, i only like oldass cars now...
They don’t die, but go ahead and share why this will be a fun winter driver over FoRS, WRX, Evo, GR.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Yes, the argument is simply = don’t winter drive it but at this money I want to drive that car everyday.
Looks much better than last gen. Interior is also much nicer. Greensburg, Indiana is where all Civic Hatchbacks are now built and was rumored to be building the CTR. I wouldn't be surprised if production cars are built in the USA not Japan.

Winter driving your cars shows you care. I approve.
I'm not one of the die-hard AWD folks, it's just that oversteer > understeer. I've always been happy to drive a RWD car in the winter. FWD is just less fun when there's no traction. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I'm sure the ride quality will be good on those rubber bands.
That's funny because the ones bitching has never driven the CTR ever, let alone in winter. If your argument is that you cant drive it everyday in any weather. that's a weak one. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I don't know if I like the new look more or less than the previous model, but I've always loved the boy racer look. I'd own one, but not at that limited quantity. I also doubt the seats would be any comfier than the last gen, and I didn't fit in those very well.

I liked the old gen CTR but I can really appreciate the toned down styling of this one. I'm strongly considering getting one but fuck, I wouldn't winter drive it (not because FWD but because winter trashes cars here) and I already have a summer only dust collector. But damn does it look amazing.
Love the bulging fenders, bet it looks sick in person when you can really get an idea of the fender proportions.
Plus I think this one ages better then the last couple generations of Type R's.
You keep missing the point so I’ll try to make it easier. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
I have driven it - it drives awesome on roads with no snow. You can drive it in snow but it’s not a peace car at that point.
7 months of the year it’s not a fun car because FWD and understeer and inability to have fun like AWD or RWD. So for our climate, it’s only a fun car 5/12 months. Remaining 7/12 months, it’s a civic with red carpets.
