Awe-some.
Total evil part on the wife though.
Only two more episodes

I've really lost interest in this show.
I really don't feel like there is really any direction now and its all over the place.
2 episodes to go and I feel like we haven't covered anything
You guys remember the "making a down-payment?" joke Rust threw at Marty earlier?
damn .. I like this show
What did you guys think of yesterdays episode? Kind of a let down I think as I figured it would be an insane episode being the second last one. So much to learn in just an hour next week. Was that the "spaghetti man" at the end? I thought it was weird they would show the killer like that. I also found it weird that the detectives talked to that guy already and didn't clue in he was the man with the scars. Can't wait for next week, but sad it will be over - I really love the characters.
yes lawn mower guy is the killer.Originally posted by chathamf

only rust talked to him and it was a very brief convo. he also had a beard at the time and only showed one side of his face.
Yeah, this show is really good but last nights episode was a bit of a letdown in comparison to all the others. Just seemed like they unloaded a ton of the mystery that made the show so interesting the past 6 episodes.
All in all, it'll suck when it's over. I don't know if the show will be the same without those two characters, but we'll see.
I enjoyed the last episode a lot. It actually renewed my faith in the series.
"Remus' family has been here a looooong time."
I'm excited to see what they do to the sheriff to try and get him to spill information about the Childress family.
I am thinking for season two, the actors will be the two black detectives on the case doing the questioning of Rust and Marty. One guy comes from The Wire and the other from SofA. Plenty of context, we know they are married, have kids, etc.
Then again (no spoiler alert needed here or with the link):
So, what's next for season two? Pizzolatto isn't saying much, and even his tweet where he suggested that next time would feature two female detectives, has been deleted. "I deleted the tweet because I didnÕt want to be beholden to a promise and then change my mind. IÕm writing Season 2 right now, but I donÕt want to divulge any potentialities, because so much could change. I just never want to create from a place of critical placationÑthatÕs a dead zone. So I donÕt want, for instance, a gender-bias-critique to influence what I do."

Can Anyone Understand "True Detective?" from The Soup:
Lawnmower guy had a bit of a beard I think when Cohl saw him but was it enough to disguise the scars? The drawings and people keep describing him as spaghetti face? With green ears? Unless that is part of his costume for when he does whatever cult shit they do.
I guess that is why the paintings were all left at that church and school if he has the contract to maintain those properties.

The beard was enough to keep the viewer from seeing the scars (especially since we couldn't see the right side of his face), but in reality, Cohl would have definitely seen them.

What a brilliant show. Not sure if TV has ever been better than that.
Meh ending was just as dissapointing as Breaking Bad. I had more hopes for this show and unfortunately it just fell flat.
The ending felt so rushed like.. oh well we have to get this all wrapped in in 1 hour

Pretty good show but I still like House of Cards better
Great show... very weird to tie it all up so nicely and still have a season two coming... I mean, if the two have nothing to do with one another what so ever then I don't know why they're calling it season two and not simply a different name altogether.
Its not really a "season" it will be more like a second book.Originally posted by Tram Common
