Can anyone clarify on what it means to receive early admission from U of C? Does it mean that you can register early for your fall semester or does it guarantee you a spot, and what roll does it have on your final transfer GPA?

Well I had it many many years ago and just remember it allowed me to have a ID number earlier (smaller number) and you get special status in your 1st year. Had to have strong academic grades entering to qualify.. In terms of benefits, did jack for me!

Yeah, it's not that important. Just gets you an ID earlier and you know you get accepted earlier. Other than that, I don't think there's any real benefit to it as you still have to wait as long as everyone else to start signing up for classes.

Meant nothing when I got it. It just means you don't have to fight for a spot in the academic roster.
