    Default Review: spikerS Drywall Work

My basement had been previously chewed up by my rabbits and being not so handy it was never repaired. I know it's a small job and calling up contractors they would just laugh at you because to most, ain't nobody got time for that. Until one day I saw spikerS posting up pics of a minor job he did for A790 so I knew he would be the guy.

In addition to drywall work he also had to remove and reattach part of the railing up the stairs. One day I was chasing my cats up the stairs I grabbed on to it and actually ripped the bottom part off, fell backwards and smashed a hole into the side at the bottom. The ghetto side of me had it held up together simply with some double sided tape. You will see in the pics.

Anyway, spikerS is a good guy. Good communication, on time, constantly updating me on progress and the price of his work was very fair.

Nice job, but how did rabbits do so much damage? Why do you have rabbits in your basement?

It's not uncommon for small business owners to store extra business supplies and inventory at personal residence.

    Nice work spikerS

How did you manage to break the hand rails?

Well many years ago it rained a lot and some water got into the basement. The rabbits freaked out and tried to chew their way out. The basement was their home at the time.

Ahhh....the rabbits have since passed away and the cats are also no longer with me (ex gf took them with her when she moved out).

Just figured it was a good time to get things cleaned up should life take me in a direction where I need to sell etc.

I don't think I could break the hand rails even if I purposely tried to.

I chased Henry (cat) up the stairs, I slipped, fell, grabbed onto the bottom part of the rail, pulled it off, as I was going backwards probably tried to use my hand to cushion but ended up smashing a hole into the wall. Yep. It really happened like that.

Would pet insurance cover this type of damages?

After reading the first 2 statements your explanation sounds pretty fishy.

Hmm I need someone to retape my garage as the contractors the home builder hired didn't do a great job, is this something you can do spikers?

Anything is possible but she deserves someone who can bring out the best in her and clearly I'm not the one.

If at first you don't succeed. Get yourself up and try again.
