I'll remind everyone. Flames in 2004 had to play Detroit. President Trophy winners that year. Then onto San Jose who were a very strong team as well.
As well, Edm had to take on Det, SJ, and Anh to get to the cup in '05.
Anything can happen in a 7 game series. The best team doesn't always win, the team that plays as a team does.
...a strong goalie doesn't hurt either.

I think the Flames can win the ducks. They have the right group of guys who can finish their series if they play for each other. Besides, the ducks are not "mighty" anymore

How many people picked the Flames to beat the Wings in 2004? Nobody.
It's the playoffs and anything can happen in a 7 game series. Just get the split in Anaheim and go from there.
