    Default Good Subaru Mechanic Suggestions?

I've got a 2012 Outback that needs the brakes done, CVT transmission flush and some other basic tune up items since it's got 120,000km on it.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for a mechanic in Calgary that knows their way around Subarus?

I've got 2 of these cars, so I'm looking to find someone good, honest and develop a relationship with them.

I've always had company provided vehicles, so I've never really had to shop around for an indy in the past.

    Thanks
    James

Do Vex work on regular, stock, low performance models as well?

I did some research and got the impression that they are the goto place for modified cars and prefer to work on the Sti models etc.

+1 from me. I get all my regular maintenance and oil changes done there, as well as performance mods.

I've taken my Legacy GT to Allmakes for the major 9XK service and everything afterwards. Have been very happy with service and price.

They work on everything. They helped my old man out with his bone stock Legacy GT.

How are they in terms of regular maintenance compared to the stealership?

Well on a 2011 there is not a whole lot of stuff required to be done, but they follow the Subaru maintenance plan. They have a service chart right from Subaru and they follow it (based on km's etc).
They do oil changes on my car with Motul oil, for $95.00

Yeah I might stop by VEX and get a tune done, if I don't end up selling my LGT.
