Ya there are a few things that made me question whether it was fake - like you guys pointed out no one was actually crossing when he stopped, and the position of the camera is suspect.
BUT - what cop in their right mind would want to record that and put it on on the world wide webz??

It is fake. It's part of a PR program they were doing to humanze their officers in light of all the stuff that's been happening. Never the less, it's still fun to watch.
