Default New vehicle ideas - must be brand new / AWD / under $28K

What's the list? Also need reasonable back seat space as the purchaser has a teenage kid.

To meet all your criteria, including "Car", pretty sure you're just looking at an Impreza.

    Otherwise you're looking at a low-mid optioned cute-ute like a CR-V, CX5, Sportage, Rogue, etc.

Edit title from car to vehicle.

Finding AWD under the $28K mark has been the challenge so far.

    $28k all in, or $28k pre-taxes etc.?

these. The new Encore looks like a good little SUV.

Subaru alone sells 5 different models under $28k (MSRP)

The Jeep Renegade should be in that price range if they are not buying immediately. They could likely also find a '14 Cherokee at the upper range of 28K if they haggled a bit, especially when the '15s start rolling in.

How tall is the kid? Are we talking about over or under 6'?

And options needed or a bare bone AWD?

You can probably get a Dodge Journey and it may be under $28K with year end discounts.

A Mazda CX5 GX AWD has an MSRP of $28 095 plus freight/pdi, fees and taxes and is one of the few import SUVs still made in Japan. I'll work them a deal of dealer invoice plus a very small percentage over Bill. Mazda also has an Unlimited mileage warranty on all their 2015 models.

Doesn't the Subaru forester win all small SUV awards. Just sucks we have crappy dealers here. I think it starts at 24k.

The Forester starts at 26K plus freight and fees but Subaru rarely sells them as a basic package, for a small price increase you ad the convenience package and that gets you alloy wheels instead of steel wheels, fog lights and a few other nice features. The CVT is one reason why I'm not crazy about the Forester anymore.

I might buy a Mazda for daily as my next vehicle just because I like dealing with you bro. No bs, just straight up, this is the fair price etc. unlike fullfledgedyyc, if ask him what the deal is he might chase me out the door.

i like the mazda unlimited thing since i put anywhere from 40-50k on a car/year except i divide it between 3 vehicles haha
