Long distance calling?

I am on Rogers unlimited Canada plan. (Free calling from Canada to Canada anytime)

I am calling a friend with their cell phone registered to the Montreal area but they are in California at the moment. Will I be charged any long distance fees?

Anyone have any idea?

If you're calling a CDN number, no you won't. They, however, will get dinged pretty badly for picking up that call.
