I haven't tried it yet, just learned I have it haha. I wish there was a way to engage it with DSC on, the YouTube videos just show dramatic tire squealing and smoke.

Can you not engage it with MDM on?

MDM( M dynamic mode) is an option which basically just allows the car to break a little bit but still has a safety net. Takes some time to learn all the features on these cars if you aren't used to having them.

Launch control? I'll have to try tonight after work, not sure. Crazy amount of features.

Still trying to figure out the difference between the 're-circulating air' modes, one with an 'A' in it, and one without

Just looked this up in my manual. A uses a sensor to detect pollutants in the air and will automatically block outside air. M is manually blocking air like a normal car.

    Who knew

That's so fancy. Unnecessary, but fancy

Could not get the launch control to work yesterday. Tried every guide I could find and the manual, no luck. Will have to try again...

Did you let the car warm up first?

My launch control works just fine but it can be tough to activate properly.

My biggest gripe with it is once you fully activate on my car you only have 3 seconds to launch the car.

Makes sense on a car with a slush box though. I would rather not have my torque converter literally explode.

I did, this was after 15 minutes of driving. I'll have to try it again.

It's such a pain to activate too! Why not just a one button system? May cause overuse I assume which BMW didn't want.
