Seeing news like this within our city absolutely disgusts me.
Not overly graphic but images still disturbing.

Calgary Humane Society Peace Officers are investigating a case of animal cruelty and neglect and they are look- ing for the public’s help in identifying the perpetrator. On January 9, 2014 an emaciated Siberian Husky dog was found deceased in an alley on the 200 block of 99 Ave SE. The dog’s muzzle was taped shut with clear medical tape, possibly contributing to the dog’s physical condition and, ultimately, it’s death. “This is a clear a case of intentional animal cruelty which would have caused this animal significant suffering” Said Brad Nichols, Manager, Cruelty Investigations at the Calgary Humane Society. “We hope someone is able to identify the dog so that we can ensure accountability for this cruel act and prevent future such acts.” Anyone who recognizes the dog or has any information about the owner of this dog are strongly encouraged to contact the Calgary Humane Society Protection and Investigations department at 403-205-4455.
