Default Seattle places I need to eat at??

Driving down in November with some friends and i've never been. They are going to see a show I am tagging along to enjoy the drive and the weekend off.

Seeing as they will be at an orchestra show for the entire saturday night i was thinking of hitting up somewhere interesting to eat since i am more interested in food than that show they are going to.

Anyone have any advice for a good dining experience? Any breakfast places we should hit saturday and sunday morning?

I know this is a bit out of the way but the last two times ive been there, i made an effort to visit the matador. Located on the corner of Leary Way NE and Cleveland Street in downtown Redmond's Old Town.

Best Nachos Ive ever had and huge selection of tequila.

Don't go to the Steelhead Diner near the waterfront. It was mediocre, but f*&king expensive.

If you love sushi, go to Shiro's. My friend and I got the $75 plate [being vague here] which consisted of fish from around the world. Ive been to many great sushi places and I can say this is up there.

Apparently, Dicks is the place where the poor hang out; where the swass like to play and the rich flaunt clout.

++ For Pike Place Chowder... Damn tasty, don't let the 50+ person line scare you. Moves quick.

I had the seafood bisque, buddies ordered the new england. All were tasty

Pike Place Chowder FTW. Even with eating 3 meals a day elsewhere we'd stop at PPC each day for a bowl of chowder and a crab roll.

Dick's is amazing, thought Peter's Drive In was the shit back in the day? Dick's is the epitome of that.

For drinks check out a speakeasy called Kneehigh Stocking Co. Small but they got some great drinks! Also Skillet Diner in Capitol Hill for breakfast/brunch.

Actually going to seattle. My friends are going to see trans siberian orchestra. I'm going to enjoy their relaxed laws on certain things haha.

with like three votes I think I will hit up this place. Since I'll be toking all three days I will probably be focused pretty heavily on the eating...

so little days...so many places to eat at haha.

keep em coming. there will be 3 of us so I'll show them this thread and we'll make some decisions

Pink Door - make sure you sit outside on the patio, go 2 hrs before sunset for the ultimate experience
Serious Pie - Tom Douglas has multiple restaurants throughout Seattle. I also suggest you visit Dahlia Bakery, his food is amazing. While you are at it, buy his cook book, you won't be disappointed.
