Default Fall camping. Everytime I go it impresses me. *PICS*

Checked out a brand new campground this time. See if you know where it is. Couldn't believe the colours. Friday night it POURED, but our tarp kept everything dry, including the firepit.
But by Saturday morning after breakfast, there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

    Enjoy:

Was this at Red Lodge? Was there early this summer and it looks quite similar.

After looking at it closer, it looks like the exact site we camped in.
Backs into the river and there's a pathway beside it.
I remember that tree stump and the rotting log.

Yup. C-71. Huge site. 50' from the river. Was it crowded in the summer? I imagine that little beach gets pretty packed when it's hot out.

Not sure I'd go up there in the summer.

It was a great weekend except for the douchebag who felt it necessary to run his generator all fucking night long.

    Haha!
We eat well. There were 6 of us for that meal.

Chicken breasts, tenderloin kabobs, Ribeye, Bratwursts, Steamed Jumbo Prawns in garlic butter, Hollondaise sauce with crab, steamed mushrooms in garlic, double-stuffed baked potatoes, veggies and caesar salad.

Breakfast was hashbrowns, bacon, sausages, pancakes and eggs.

We're heading there weekend after next. Hope it doesn't snow. Sad that our friends have missed the peak of the fall colours. Not sure how much will still be there in two weeks. Did you drive around the lakes at all? (Upper and Lower?)

Ya awesome site. Had to pull out the biggest tarp I had just to cover parts of it.
It was busy during the summer and it wasn't even a long weekend when we went. We just lucked out with the site, it was one of the last ones that had another unoccupied site beside it.
The only reason we were able to get a site is because we came down on a Wednesday afternoon, set everything up and didn't return until Friday morning.
