Infiniti gone full retard in naming cars.
I don't get Nissan/Infiniti anymore. Why make a 2 door sporty car but leave it FWD and auto?
New Nissan's suck so bad. It's sad

So happy Infiniti is putting competitive engines in their cars now. Should have good tuning potential as well, along with the same high bang for the buck. I wonder if they will make a real wagon, probably not.

Burnouts and torque steer for days
Seriously? I missed the FWD part. I can't believe they would do that. What a waste. Is the sedan FWD too?Originally posted by Ca_Silvia13

I've read you can get AWD but I can't confirm the FWD. I almost find it hard to believe they would do 400HP (and presumably more torque) FWD.

Where are you guys reading that it's FWD? Maybe confusion from the post above about the QX60?
No manufacturer is making a 400 HP FWD car. That's just too crazy to be true.
This is a RWD car w/ available AWD.
http://www.autoblog.com/2016/01/11/2...roit-official/Power is channeled through the Q60's rear wheels for optimal dynamic response and to benefit steering feel. The available rear-biased Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system provides enhanced stability and road holding in low-grip conditions.

Will be interested to see this when it comes out. Had a G35 coupe and loved it. Q50 seems pretty impressive so forced induction makes it seem like a nice little package. This engine will also be in the Q50, not sure on the 400hp version, but that is also an option if people want 4 doors as they both have similar styling/interior.
xtrema tricked everyone though

In NA they will both be called QX30 so people think they are all crossovers.Originally posted by 01RedDX
Lifted Q30 is QX30 but I agree. Subaru's convention of totally changing the name of a lifted vehicle is kinda weird too.

It's RWD.
They installed the 2L turbo from Mercedes longitudinally rather than transverse in the 2.0T version. The accessory belt even says Mercedes Benz on it.

Didn't know that, wtf. They must think we're stupid or something.
The first long con was the Juke, basically a hatchback but they well it as an SUV.
Yes, my bad I got that mixed up with the QX60 comment above.
I still believe that the powertrain's in the past 10 years have not been very exciting. But TT V6 + Aftermarket = Easy 500hp cars.
Finally something to look forward to from Nissan/Infiniti
Thanks for the clarification....I was wondering wtf the Q whatever meansOriginally posted by Xtrema

Overall though besides the shitty naming convention, I like the style overall. Nice to see Infiniti's new styling direction.
