If the M3, C63 ever come with awd options that would be my next car. Alternatively if Audi brings back the RS4 I would be interested in that.

Went online to look at Porsche for fun. Can't get a GT4. New 911 Turbo is starting $180K? WTF were they always that expensive?

Shit, there's only 49 users here, I doubt we'll even break 100
No GT4's and all the dealers are trying to push the GTS saying its a better all round car.
Yeaaaaaah, no thanks.
Yup. Try to option it out with everything possible, a "fully loaded" 911 turbo (not even S or cab) is just ridonkulous.Originally posted by max_boost

And to think 20 years ago a 911 (993) Turbo was only $100k cdn haha.

IIRC, base price for a 993 Turbo in Canada in 1996 was $126,000... I know for certain that US cars had a base price of $105,000.Originally posted by rage2

That's pretty much bang on when adjusted for inflation...
The real difference is the number of options available and the cost of them.
It's crazy, I know. I look around at cars and I feel so cheap, because on one hand, I do love the 911 T, but at that price, I look at what else I can get, then I circle back to "am I going to spend that much money on a car"... it's a cycle.Originally posted by max_boost

My next car....
2016 WRX , picked it up last week to replace the Frontier
Would love a 996 turbo, I will likely be stuck in the EL for a long while
sig deleted by moderator, because they are useless
Next cars will likely be:
LX470, some sort of diesel wagon, rs6

The X5 i bought earlier this year really is FULLY LOADED though not a single option missing including infrared night driving
Fiesta ST, MK7 GTI.. Not sure yet.
Used FiST go for cheaper but it is tough to find one without a sunroof (need the headroom).
GTI is more luxurious and a bigger car but costs more and does not handle as well.
No rush so I guess I will wait and see.

I just got a wrangler a couple months ago. So nothing new for a while. Just plan on tossing some money into the Jeep when I can.
I'd like to get back into a V8 M3. Probably be a sedan this time, there is one at Bavaria and another at Jessel that are nice.....ly overpriced. I'll be buying winter tires this time but still drive the forester when its really nasty out.
That s/c'd dinan looks really high for some reason. I hate that exhaust with its fake outer tips. I had to sell mine it was driving me nuts.
I don't know. I think I've peaked in terms of what I can allocate to cars financially as well as the performance I'm getting for my money (well, for the GT-R). I mean I love Porsches....but not enough to spend 70% more for a Porsche I'd want, like a used 997.2TT.
If finances play out for 2016 I will be ordering a P90D tesla .... I've always wanted to get away from gas for city driving!

Probably a bush/camping truck for me if anyone has anything for sale...
You want a Land Rover? It would be nice to have a 4x4 rig that's not trying to kill me every 125 km's.Originally posted by Twin_Cam_Turbo

Wanna buy Toyotas together? I'm itching for another.
A coworker has an original Toyota camper style van that his wife is making him get rid of. He has had it for over 25 years, original owner. I can't remember the exact model but it's pretty sweet, has AWD and a fullsize bed and other amenities. He told me he would basically sell it to me for nothing so perhaps I'll have to flip it here
Wanted a WRX but thinking at this age I should be getting something more sensible like a Q50, so I guess a Q50 at this point unless something else similar catches my attention. This year's version supposedly is ditching the VQ37VHR for the new VR30DETT (which apparently is also company wide change... including the next Z, Z32TT revival maybe?)
