Default Dead Mouse in Power Bowl at Suncor Marcellos

Anyone else see this? The email with a photo and the AHS report has been going around lots of companies downtown. Someone got a dead mouse in her power bowl from the Suncor Marcellos

The report is on the AHS website if anyone is curious. One less place I will eat downtown now...

How would this even be possible based on the way they are made?

    Marcello's is awful anyways.

No idea but probably in the spinach or kale, they grab a bunch of it all at once with tongs, it could easily be hidden in between. The mouse wasn't very big.

I've got some big chunks of plastic bag in my spinach there before too on more than one occasion - they obviously don't check it before serving it to people, so it stands to reason they could miss a mouse too. So gross.

This has been floating around now for a couple of weeks and nothing yet has ever actually been verified or proven.

Bringing dead mouse to work with you so you can photograph it in a power bowl in a public place is a lot of effort for someone to go to just for some attention. How many females do you know that would be cool with carrying around a dead mouse haha? Also with how much plastic I've found in my spinach there before I know they don't check their food very thoroughly.

Personally I believe it's legit. It's far more likely a mouse is found in a place that buys mass quantities of produce than someone bringing in a dead mouse for a quiet smear campaign that just got passed around a little bit locally.

Uh its quite easy to fake any of this shit. Unless something is proven or shown to be factual proof this is just heresay.

Wow, lots of violations in the reports. Would make me think twice.

It's more than enough to make me never go back. I work with about a dozen people who were regulars there and don't go there anymore either. I'd rather not be the one to see it with my own eyes for proof next time. I'm tired of the plastic in my spinach anyway, probably a good time to stop.

They also don't correct their past violations, apparently - they get nailed for the same things every time (improper storage of perishable foods).

I checked a bunch of places I eat at out of curiosity, and none of them have food related violations, just stuff like "insufficient paper towel at wash station" haha.

Guess you need to refill before the towels run out.

Did you read the AHS report?

CUSTOMER PURCHASED A SALAD AT THE ESTABLISHMENT THAT CONTAINED WHAT APPEARS TO BE A DEAD MOUSE.

LEFTOVER PRODUCT WAS PICKED UP FROM THE CUSTOMER AND BROUGHT BACK TO THE RESTAURANT TO SHOW THE MANAGER.
