Interesting... Maybe they don't carry NewAge anymore.
I think they still carry NewAge but this is a good builder grade alternative

Those looked too small for anything beyond RC car building.

    Go custom.

I believe they still sell Newage but their prices have shot through the roof. Also when we got ours they were cheaper directly through their website rather then through Costco. Plus Costco only had 1 or 2 different kits to pick from.

I have a bunch of NewAge cabinets (before the massive price increases). You can negotiate with them directly if you are buying more than one item (usually a few hundred dollars in savings).

Quality is good (Pro model), but not sure if they are worth the asking price now.

For better quality and finish, I'd probably look locally at Hayley if I had a bigger budget.

It is awesome, I really like it! Doesn't take up a great deal of space, and has about 6 ft 8 inches of clearance underneath at the highest locking point.

I do have an engineered concrete pile under the slab to support it, although the official spec only calls for 200mm minimum thickness at 3,000 psi (although I've seen it installed at 4" thickness).

If one is fucked in shipping which will be easier to. Get parts, or modules or refunds for?

Can't speak to relative quality but I'd prefer having more drawers in the bottom cabinets.

I've never seen a large combo setup I like more than some gravy duty shelving and more lower tool chests.

Agreed. A 48-56" rolling chest plus some surplus vertical office cabinets is more effective and probably a third the price. Just doesn't look as cool.

Yeah, my life is basically Basketball Diaries, so I should definitely incorporate that theme into it.

I have a few of those dog shit plastic shelves and the shit on those shelves is in like cardboard U-Haul boxes. It's pretty ridiculous and I think it's time to stop.
I feel like I need that magic Japanese lady to come and tell me what to do, but for garages. What's her name? Like Mary Condom or something?
For some reason I can't picture a system that makes sense based on the shape. Actually, maybe I should draw it out on Eng Paper and some of you magic Chinese ladies can maybe help me.

Oh, and I'm going to get shirts made for me and ExtraSlow that say "Gravy Duty".

I gave up on the newage stuff when it spiked in price. I haven't paid attention to it anymore as, like others have suggested above, a rolling cabinet is a great thing to have . So what I am going to get now is a husky 41 inch rolling cabinet that matches my toolbox, and one husky vertical cabinet. That's more than enough for my storage needs and total cost will be a little bit over 1k.

I've got one of the massive husky welded racks as well. That single rack holds a ton of stuff. I recently bought some 102L heavy duty totes to organize stuff nicely on the rack as I too had shit in cardboard amazon boxes.
