just wondering if there's any interest on a NetApp FAS2050 with 2 trays. Someone wants to play with NetApp LOL? total space was about 5-6TB (I think LOL).. it's the controller with 2 DS14 MK4 Chassis. the controllers are missing few harddrives as they failed

This will be going to be ecycle soon the NetApp can be picked up at Downtown during business hours.

lol, That's a lot of power and space for 6TB. 0 support, doesn't even do Ontap beyond version 7.

Just call a recycler.

Anyone who want to play with Netapp, they rather play with simulator.

That said, if it's licensed with NFS, it's a pretty good performing NFS v3 server on the market.

can't remember what licenses on it. the last time we use it for iscsi connections for Dev. and I think prior to that it was being used as CIFS Network shares.
