COD Infinite Warfare + COD Modern Warfare Remastered

COD:IW looks alright, same recipe, but more space and crap. What's really interesting are the screenshots for COD:MW Remastered. Probably the best storyline in the entire COD series. Hopefully they remaster MW2 and 3 as well for the full trilogy at some point. MW3 had some great visuals for its time, but you could easily see the devs struggling with hardware limits, forcing lower res just to get the game to move smooth enough through the campaign.

I really dislike what COD has become, especially with that trailer, might as well be halo so I am hoping that MW will be available separately.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is only available through the Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

We're getting old. Kids love the sci fi shit. Forbes has an article on exactly how we feel:

I'd love to see them go back to a WW2 or modern day storyline but it'll never happen till sales drops off. Sci fi is the safe ticket for printing money in this genre.

That makes sense, I used to buy them every year but stopped with 10 when it started going crazy.

Battlefield 5 is going to be announced this week also, and apparently it is going to be WWI which would be great. They don't need to do space because they will also sell you Titanfall 2 this fall

Just like WW2 shooters 10 years ago, sci fi and near future shooters are the ones that are now stale.

Luckily it sounds like Battlefield is going back to ww2 at least

As a diehard BF fan since BF1942 it sure has, Hardline and Battlefront I never bought, but DICE has said they recognize their fk ups and plan to try to get the series back to where it was.

As for CoD, I was also playing that even competitively back in the day (CoD 1 & 2 MP - WW2), somewhere around BlOps 1 I stopped because it was the same gdamned engine and game mechanic for 5 years straight thereafter. That Bobby Kotick tyranny.

For nostalgia though MW remake has my attention, I agree that it had the best storyline out of them all. I mean how can you pass up doing the Pripyat/Chernobyl level with current gen graphics and a rig that can do it now. I will buy the game just to play that again haha

The Pripyat mission is my favorite. Camping in the ferris wheel, the most iconic Pripyat landmark and shooting the fuck out of an army. So epic in Veteran mode. I think MW was the only game I actually finished in Veteran before I became a pussy and play everything in Hardened and now Regular haha.

That I would pay full price for, I'd even be so sure to say if they sold just this MW1 standalone I would buy it at full price.

Several factors for me, it was the beginning of a great SP story, the nostalgia factor, the countless hours a lot of people like myself spent in MP and the breakthrough of a game that this was in 2007, they'd be stupid not to just detach it from CoD: IW, imo at least.

It's quite funny though in retrospect, leave it to Activision to stand up to its proud legacy of milking the same (at its core)graphics engine and formula for almost 10 years now. I have -1000% interest in Infinite Warfare but gdamned it do I want a MW1 Remastered PC copy

Just to be clear, I'd pay full price for each one remastered of the trilogy. No Russian remastered would be pretty fucking insane.

I don't mind getting IW crammed down my throat, I would buy it anyways, but I'm definitely paying for MW1 and getting IW as a bonus haha.

Another one that needs to get remastered is World at War. The multiplayer campaign was so much damn fun. I almost wanna fire it up now if anyone still has an XB360 and play some multiplayer haha.

MW and WAW are hacked to hell on Xbox 360.

MW was good back in the day but I think most people rank it high due to nostalgia. The pinnacle of COD for me is BO1. It was the best overall package imo.

I will most likely get this since it has some of the best MP maps. It seems as though they are keeping MP intact which means 3x frags, martyrdom, last stand and noob tubes.
