Too early to start a storm thread for the year?

I feel like this year is going to be a bad one for storms. I was home yesterday and we had one storm with small hail and loads of thunder/lightning go over around 2pm and then another one with pretty intense rain at 6pm.

Already today there are a line of storms coming in from South Calgary moving SW to NE direction. Also funnel cloud watches east of calgary.

Weather advisory for funnel clouds in central alberta, including Blackfalds and Ponoka.

Why can't there ever be a weather advisory for funnel cake? No need to tarp the car. Just stand outside with your mouth open.

Small hail in Cranston for about a minute which is nothing but the thunder here is kind of crazy.

I cant recall t ever being 80% humidity outside when it wasnt raining. I walked out this morning thinking that it was 19c and yet it was only 10c. The who sky is hazy/dark with latent moisture.

Blackfalds got pounded with pea size hail and rain last night. There were people kayaking in the ditches after it blew thru.

Shut down here an hour north of Fort mac for an insane storm. Hopefully it went far enough to hit the fires.
