If there were health concerns they would be obligated to put up signs.
That being said always shower after swimming in most recreational lakes.

Chesterslough is one of the most disgusting lakes I've ever seen... Why not just drive out to Ghost? It's the same distance damn near and so fucken cold (don't be a pussy) that nothing gross grows in it.
