    Default budgeting app/spreadsheet?

hey does anyone know of a good/free budget app and/or spreadsheet?

ideally something with a calendar where i can enter all my pay days and bill payment dates for a year.

that way i can see how much is left after payments and bills. and then i'd have a starting point to know much i have left each month to divide up for food/entertainment etc.

i use mint.com but not sure if it does exactly what you want. I use it more to track categories of spending. It's nice cuz it imports from all your banking stuff, but just praying to dear jesus that they don't get hacked lol

the guys on reddit also speak highly of ynab.com (you need a budget) but i've never used it so can't speak to it.

I think the thread below had some good suggestions. Vlookup tables in Excel are fairly straight forward as well and may be something worth trying if the ones mentioned don't fit exactly your needs. Would allow you to create a master table of expenses and then you could fill in another sheet with day by day expense items in a table.

An app would be way more convenient though!!

Personally I use sheets on google. It's not as user friendly as excel (though I may be biased since I'm more used to excel), but I like the convenience of being able to look at my budget on the go, and enjoy customizing it more than using the likes of mint and etc.

Sheets also has some nice templates for budgets. I just decided to build my own as a personal preference.
