While never actually owned one, I have wanted one of these since I was about 7 years old, and I still want one today, just haven't found one in a condition worth restoring.

I dunno. For what it was and the era, I always thought the Intrepids looked pretty good!

I am not sure I've ever owned any truly ugly vehicles, but if I had to pick one it would be either my first or second car. Keeping in mind, however, that we're going back about two decades here....

(Neither are my pictures. I have none of my Maverick, and this is a better picture of an identical Supra. The only pictures I have of that one was when I was a 150 lb pipsqueak wearing a leather jacket, leaning against it like I thought I was cool. I wasn't. That pic stays in my archive.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

I knew a guy in HS they had that maverick. Did you graduate in 2000?

EDIT: never mind. You're older than me, graduated with my brother(s).

I had a 1989 blue Ford Taurus with the clear peeling off. It had the 3L V6 though and the fuel pump would cavitate with anything less than 1/4 tank when it was hotter than 25 outside. Amazing when it would putter and stall turning left at a light.

Not ugly! I'd rock that for sure!
Though I'd really like to find a 65-68, preferably in blue.

Saab 9000 I posted earlier was shared between my brother and I. My solo first truck was this gem but with more rust and the 89 wheels.
