@rage2 The ARM version of Lightroom (not Classic though) was released along with beta Photoshop so it sounds like they're at least working on it.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

LR classic or bust haha. Isn’t the new Lightroom the iOS version? Meaning it’s already built for arm anyways? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

What’s the benefit of keeping Wi-Fi enabled on the watch? Why not just keep it off and have Bluetooth to your phone? Am I missing something here?

Bluetooth is slow as balls? You don’t always have your phone? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I see, so essentially if your phone is out of Bluetooth range, the watch will still receive data if it is connected to the local network. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Reason I ask is because I’m trying different things to extend battery life.

I don’t personally use an Apple Watch. But my understanding is they can work quite well without a phone nearby over wifi.

Most used feature of Apple watch in our house? Ring my phone cuz I can’t find it. Can’t do that with Bluetooth haha.

Oh, so true. Getting the watch has stopped my wife from constantly saying “do you know where my phone is?”This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Siri also works “Siri where is my phone”, if you have their speakers or another device.

Damn I didn't know that was a thing. I happened to have my Apple watch on and tried it and works like a charm. Though I will likely never have to use it personally as I don't lose my phone often lol. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

I ring my wife's iphone thru Find my Phone at least once a day. I think you guys just convinced me to get an Apple Watch lol
was finally able to coerce the wife to upgrade her iCloud to 2TB storage as it will make it so much easier to backup all our photos online.
once I'm done uploading over 200GB of photos and videos on icloud from 3 different phones, I'm going to upload the ones I exported in the past to a PC, my worry is that there could potentially be a lot of duplicate, especially with ones exported as JPEG in the past but HEIC still on the phone. is icloud smart enough to know possible duplicates and merge/delete them?
also any way to access the IOS/Mac Photos library with Lightroom Classic?

For LR Classic, I just drag the photos I need in a "Import" folder in iCloud Drive and import. It's duplicated, but I can easily delete and recopy the originals in there if I need the space. The only bad thing about this is that it uses the "edited" photos and not the originals if you've edited them.
The other way, is to download the entire library in Photos, then import the whole shebang from the folder where Photos stores the files. It's a little excessive if you have a massive 800gb library like me haha. But I believe those pick up the original images without any edits in Photos.
