Literally just finished watching the episode. I think we all know about Impark, Wespark and Vinci (Indigo). There are a few lots run by Precise Parklink and they are way more aggressive. Also not sure how they obtain info but they did send a collections letter to my gf, which she promptly ignored.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

Yup. Wen parking on private lots free for years. Knock on wood, but I haven't been towed yet either.

The more people don't pay, the sooner they'll start using the boot haha. That would be hilarious to see.

I'd rather smash my windshield than pay to remove that awful thing.

I wonder what the likelyhood of them causing cracks to grow is?

I saw this article. Good to know that collections doesn't hurt your credit unless a ruling is made, I didn't realize that.

If they can't legally force you to pay Rage, how could they legally take care and control of your vehicle? Which is essentially what a boot does....

Even if they were legal there.

Serious question: do you guys who don't pay Impark (et al.) tickets use their lots without paying an hourly rate knowing you're just going to toss the tickets anyways? Or do at least pay the hourly rate?

Really? Neat. Sorry, I hate when people say this, but do you have a source for that? Not calling you a liar, just genuinely curious and couldn't find anything. I know you're in law enforcement (unless I'm getting posters confused again) but want something to back it up if I point it out to someone.

This seems to be true but it's not stopping a parking company in Edmonton from booting cars and extorting I think somewhere around $300 from peoplen . Of course it sounds like they won't take it off unless the police come and tell them to do it and with EPS response times you might as well pay the $300

My thoughts exactly, how much does that pos cost compared to each ticket?

With a wireless cc reader installed in each one destroying them would get expensive very quickly.
