Default Siri is dumber than Cortana and Google.

Not that I've ever turned on the microphone with Windows 10 to let Bill Gates listen to my sweet voice.

It still surprises me that people don't realize that Windows 10 does come with a complete and fully functional voice recognition system. All you have to do is take the piece of electricians tape off your camera and microphone and turn it on.

Yet if they release a Siri speaker competitor to Echo or Home it will still outsell both

Surprised all the talks how Siri is shit just a few days away from WWDC 2017.

Is Apple a leader in tech, not any more.

Is Apple's eco system still the most user friendly? Yeah, there is some truth to that.

What? I get the most questions from Apple users, their products may have been user friendly circa 2008 but not anymore. Convoluted pieces of crap

Siri is terrible for searching for shit, both for understanding proper context of the search, and results as well because they don't use google as a backend. I rarely use it for that. It does the job well for voice activated commands. Choose songs, albums and playlists while driving, setting home automation scenes and devices, works well enough and actually even understands kids speech.

typical apple fanboy response, and conveniently the last time apple did anything innovative.

    Wearable has stalled.

VR/AR is just starting but may stall as well.

The only next big tech thing will be EV and AI. It won't be personal consumer tech. Phone tech has peaked, much like PCs.

If you're looking at functionality, even the original iPhone isn't really innovative. I was using PocketPCs well before I got an iPhone, which is the same thing. Apple's innovation is purely in user experience, aka taking other's ppl's crappy shit and making it easy for noobs if you don't count Maps.

Apple innovates well in behind the scenes stuff though, their processors and co-processors are generally speaking ahead of the curve, but mainly because they have full control between software and hardware that their competitors can't take advantage of. Again, all this is to improve user experience.

Hey how did you get a 99% user rating? Trying to assimilate with the peasants?
