I got a good laugh out of this. The truth is, I spent a lot of my life working in "small town" Alberta thanks to the oil industry, and many many people do still support him.

I liked his note of "we'reonly running in ridings where the NDP can't win in order to prevent a vote split" [paraphrased]

Kenney won't let him back into UCP, he's out without doing anything.

Unless he can get Brian Jean or someone more prominent into his party, this is a whole lot of nothing. I don't think old WR members want to quit UCP yet.

I don’t know if you want his kind of small government. He believes he should be able to do whatever he wants. Hence why he illegally went onto someone’s land to go hunting.
