Honda Fit is obviously the best choice. Has been for a decade at least.

I'll even throw in a basic professional detail for you even though it's quite clean already. Just need something larger, otherwise I would keep it forever.

If she's coming from a '03 Corolla, the Fit would still be nice even if it doesn't have AWD. Get some decent winters, and it's still a "smaller" vehicle and easy to maneuver. You would know, obviously :P

My dad used to have one of those tercel wagons in manual. I remember it had vinyl seats. To this day, he still says that was the best vehicle he has ever owned lol.
