Two hours from airdrie to UofC and back. Ugh. Westbound Stoney approaching Sarcee has a solid 15-20 cars in the ditch that couldn’t make the hill. Shag shut @ John Laurie, Country Hills shut westbound. Yeehaw!

Downtown was not bad (pretty much dry) and memorial from 36th going to downtown was not bad (6:30am) the roads were covered but it looks like crews were out moving the snow out of the way. Drove the truck without 4x4 and a few front wheel drive vehicles were out with no issues. Now if folks would understand that memorial is 3 lanes and not 1 or two that would be great.

Driving home from the airport area early evening yesterday was nuts on Deerfoot. For some reason almost everyone had their hazards on but not their lights... And one guy passed us throwing slush onto the car and completely covered my windshield. The weight and sound of it made it seem like the damn thing was going to break onto the front seats lol.

Haven't experienced that much heavy snow coming at me sideways in quite awhile

Last night getting from Kilkenny to downtown then back to the NW was interesting, had to make my own lanes and be pretty ballsy to avoid travelling at 20km/h everywhere behind the ill equipped sheep.

    Felt like an asshole.

It’s all packed ice and ruts up in Arbour Lake all the way into Crowfoot. Studded tires day today.

Was driving home from the auto mall yesterday afternoon as it was transitioning to rain and slush was literally freezing onto my car.

That was a very epic storm overall. Not even convinced it’s going to melt short term all things considered.

I'm hanging around rimbey this weekend. We got it 10 hours earlier than Cowtown, and accumulated about 30cm. Epic is correct. Highways are good now as they were plowed. Side rural roads packed ice.

Maybe they'd re-clean the streets. My area needs another pass.

Woke up yesterday to 6 inches on my truck in Edmonton.

Left at approx noon and must have skirted the entire system coming down HWY 2.

Saw a couple of Jack knifed semi's just south of red deer but other than that it was ok driving...

    Just a lot of wind...

Got back in Calgary and had dry roads from Cross-Iron to my house.

Settled in in the for the night and woke up again with over 6 inches of snow on my truck...

Might have to go find my snow brush in the garage.

Well I'm in a ditch. I had to be in Calgary yesterday, but ended up staying the night. 5 minutes from strathmore and I hit the ditch.

Just totally skirted on sheets of ice, controlled 3 times and hit the ditch 4th. Going 40. Yes...summer tires are on...fuck.

Like summer performance tires, or all-seasons? If the former, you deserve it, lol.
