There's probably a ridiculous amount of peoplecwhomwould fall into this "I'm a contractor" but in reality could be determined to be an employee per CRA rules. Even myself, as a sub, could fall into that category as it's quite easy to settle into a routine with one company but I don't have that problem as I'm now juggling subbing to two companies with a third company wanting me to sub to them as well. Good problem to have I suppose.
