Personally, I’ve done both “styles” of freshwater tanks, either with a few larger more vibrant fish, or with lots of smaller fish like tetras and stuff, and I’ve always liked the look of a well planted, well lit, and “busy” aquarium best.

I think you're right there. I wanted to get those before but they weren't suitable for my set up at the time. I seem to recall they like a lot of fast moving water. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Changed out the substrate on the 150g. 180lbs of sand is no fun...
Free fish are the best fish. Rescued this gold nugget, pair of guoramis, albino bristlenose, pair of loaches.
Black friday sales got me and added another pair of oddball fish to the tank. Two senagal birchirs and a pictus catfish.
Couple new baby pleco's added. Silvertip spotted Bristlenose and an albino Chocolate. The Bichirs are getting big fast and picked up another pictus catfish for the big tank. Looking at picking up another 4ft tank as I still want a flowerhorn badly.
more stuff added to the 150. Nigerian ropefish and some roseline sharks. Tanks is fun to watch now with lots of activity going on.
Set up a web cam and stream it frequently check it out

Anybody interested in a Red Shoulder Severum? Roughly 3" but missing a piece of his left cheek when he was a fry and it never grew back. Other then that he is healthy. I have to many severums in my tank i need to let one go unfortunately.

Finally getting past the BGA outbreak from hell (still a few remnants on the swords/crypt). Started dosing a bit of kh2po4 and she started to rebound after months of big water changes and having no surviving fish. Val's have taken off like crazy swords still struggling.
Tank #3 is mostly set up just need to drop in a heater, bubbler, and some fish!
Finally got my flowerhorn. Hes super personable and likes being pet.
Looks awesome! I hope you named him, Megamind.

Damn... I keep a few zebra danios and I freaked a bit on the first chompThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Where does it all go? How often does it eat / digest? (i.e. how long is that other danio gonna live?)
Ideally he should get 1-2 feeders a day but i've been feeding him 3 every couple of days. The feeders dont last long the first two get downed within 5min and the 3rd is gone within the hour. Changed him to rosy reds now that danios arent on sale anymore. The're bigger and I fed him 4, he had them all gone within the hour with a big fat belly afterwards. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
