That lineup is nuts. It's like some sort of hysteria. People go apeshit for that place.

This is why you go at 11ish.

I prefer 1:30… they then also give you extra large portions, because closing soon

I’m shocked people seem to like Hankki so much.

Bowl full of iceberg lettuce, soggy fried chicken, unidentifiable meat, gross vegetable gyozas, and they charge extra for kimchi.

    What’s not to love.

Hankki has grown on me. I did not like it the first time I tried it but now I know what I like (probably the “whitest” thing on their menu which is the basic Korean fried chicken) and I now have it weekly. Lineup is long but it actually moves very quick, similar to Omi. Key is to go not at 11:30. I find 12 and 12:15 are not bad, don’t think I wait more than 10 mins total from standing in line to walking away with food in hand.

I have been going to Olly's every day to sample all of the different salads/bowls, ezpz.
I still like the occasional Hankki, I just wish they could mix it somewhat as hard to mix everything together in that bowl so you aren't eating in layers. I also forgoe the egg now.

Try KOR in Suncor... I feel like their bowls are an upgrade over Hankki. Priced similar but slightly smaller options and easier to mix.

It was good. Unfortunately they gave me tofu instead of meat. Fucking Koreans.

I'll give that a try next week. Is it similar than to Gogi?

Had it for lunch today, I like it better than Gogi, serving is smaller than Hanikki, I didn’t mind it at all.

I finally went to Hankkiii recently. It's pretty good, but LoL at ever considering lining up as far as I've seen that lineup go in BVS.
    Hard no!
Wow lineup for Hankki? I used to go during Covid as their bowls are super tasty but that's a bridge too far. Haven't been back in ages since Meshi has very similar bowls plus K-dogs and is way closer to my office.

    Tried that new Kor place.

Good was fine, bibimbap portions were tiny. Had to supplement.

Don’t go there if you are hungry.
