Yeah that's been my struggle, don't really care if there is some pre-roll ads as I can just toss them on while getting ready anyways but every basic package from many streaming services is some godawful 720p crap.

Netflix with ads for $6 went over fairly well. I'm on it now.

From what I've heard, Netflix makes more on the cheaper version with ads because of their ability to monetize it twice thanks to subscription fees and ad buys, so they want more people on the ad-version.

I will probably drop my Prime membership. Not like they have great content anyway. I was looking at my "savings" from the last 12 months, and I think I saved 35$ on shipping fees by having a membership... so it isn't even paying for itself anymore.

Wow, I had no idea you get this Doordash bonus with Prime. I've been a Prime member since they first started streaming FFS. You don't want to know how much $$$ I'd not have spent just last year alone on Dash fees. Fuck fucking FUCK. Took like 10 seconds to sign up for it. Searched through my email, not a single mention of Dashpass from Amazon, ever.
