On a more serious note, the real way you accomplish that is convince your wife to go a day early with the kids because “you have to work”.

Would like to take the wee man over to visit his Great Grandparents as I think that's the only way they'll ever meet (my grand-dad won't travel by plane anymore) and while the baby and I would have no problems going back as citizens, my wife would be subject to further rules, so as soon as they're relaxed, I'll be booking!

Don't really GAF about rules coming back to Canada as she's still on mat leave and I've got the old essential travel documentation

Got shut down super quickly a while back as crossing to get shots wasn’t an “essential” reason.

Notably though. Vegas is 100% open no restrictions. Combine that with no quarantine on return and that’s sounding pretty damn tempting…
