6 weeks (30) plus 17+2 is impressive. 49 days off a year, you really only end up working ~200 days a year if I'm marthing this right.

Shell gave a day off for the Stampede parade.
Spicy caesars with the vendor to get information is definitely a work day

Vendor, client, customer or just a stakeholder. They all need some ceasars.

I remember SAFETY DAY at Shell being essentially a full day party. Zero alcohol, but the square root of zero work, plus clowns, balloon animals and BBQ.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Safety day would be something conceived by an Industrial Hygienist, the balloon animals were crafted in a fume hood.

Perks of working corporate Shell?
No that is a “training course” for new grads called Shell Life. Yes that’s the actual name lol. Apparently I wasn’t cool enough to get flown to NL. But I did get a free week at the rim rock in Banff and connected with other grads, so it was a decent way to spend a week. I even got to expense the mileage to drive back and forth at a pretty generous per km rateThis quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
No idea if they are still doing that. Not even sure if new grads have been hired in the last few years at all even.
Do you mean clicking that link? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It's not. I was in the middle of something and didn't have time to Internet with the full care & attention people have come to expect from me.
It's just a loop of about 3 seconds from Letterkenny.
Haha yea, clicking a link about 12yo girls seems like a good way to get on a list. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
