    hey are you the person with the sunfire that killed the white prelude ?

    that was the sadest thing i ever saw, i couldnt belive the sunfire beat the prelude.

    I mean the prelude was just so far behind and it was a newer prelude too.

    Mad shifting skillz... plus an extra 35 horsepower and 20 ft-lb in the Sunfire GT compared to the base Sunfire.

    Cool

    Interesting stand off against Captain Dirty's Civic. I wonder what the winner will be in the future.

    I'm thinking the 3.5s 60' had a ton to do with that, I think I could sprint 60' quicker than that
    Usually as a general rule every 1/10th in your 60' is good for 2/10ths in your 1/4 E.T.

    no offence but i dont think you gonna get 16.8 out of your car. cars run fast on cold nights not slow. good times though ive seen alot of imports running slower then that. and that is not the first new gen prelude ive seen run 18 sec. but then again ive seen them go alot faster.

    Agreed, somewhat. He's already cutting 2.4 60 footers, there really isn't much room to play with there for a fwd'er. Cold nights do suck for traction, there is always a tradeoff between engine performance and track performance when it comes to abient air temperatures..
    You start with a bag full of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

    I probably sound dumb but what to do most of those acronyms mean? Never been to race city before..don't know what any of those are..

    r/t = ?
    60' = ?
    330 = ?
    1000 = ?
    1/4 = Quarter Mile?

    330 = 330 foot time
    1000 = 1000 foot time
    1/4 = Quarter Mile time
    Mph is the trap speed when you cross

    Ya....but look at the trapspeed. The Prelude almost has 10mph on the Sunfire and that is HUGE. There must have been something going on in that Prelude for that run because 85mph should get you in the 16's easily. Hell even I can drive a fwd into the mid-16's with 85mph.

    I trap 16 flat at 86 mph. But everyone knows that J-bodies have no top end power. If we don't get off the line quick, it's over.
