    Default Local Motorsport

I’ve got a winter/ summer fun car set up ((AWD/RWD). However, their capabilities are far higher than what I can have fun with safely. I know, all the grown up stuff.

I’ve never been to track and know there’s an option in Edmonton or BC. Is there a frequent auto cross, rally, ice/ snow fun to be had that’s local? And keeps the fun going safely on a more frequent basis?

Word on the street is that Rally X might have some new venues soon, and Calgary Sports Car Club will likely run Ice Dice out by Milo again this year. Edmonton Rally Club also runs regular Rally X, as well as there being three road courses in the Edmonton area currently and a fourth North of Calgary opening next season. Southern Alberta Solosport Club also runs regular summer Auto X although their season is now finished.

"Local" as opposed to the asshole that keeps posting about events that are in Toronto?
    LoL!

There's a member who posts about AutoX events in Fort MacLeod fairly regularly. That's not far.

Treat me as a noob. What are the first steps to this? I don’t want to go to Edmonton just given the 6hr time commitment, so what’s closer and frequent?

That's not true, is it?. SASC is a thing and like I said, I think it's in Fort MacLeod which is only about an hour away.
Who is the member with the avatar with the gas pump nozzle going up its ass? It looks like a yellow road sign?
