I've always wondered how they manage the expenses of the Red Bull Advance Technologies and now Red Bull Powertrains Limited subsidiaries given they could likely bury so many costs through reduced backcharges and such (not to mention information flow from AlphaTauri.

I saw something about Max using a different floor than Perez in Spa, but couldn't find it again to see if it was legit. Would potentially explain why Max was so much faster.

Both Redbulls had a 'new' floor for Spa but it wasn't really meant to be a upgrade. There was a TD that prevented having floors that flexed above a certain amount that affected Redbull along with Merc. It came into effect after Hungary so they had to change the floor to be compliant. It would've been in both cars as they can't use the old one anymore.

Redbull apparently only made 1 spare chassis this season to save on costs (most teams make 2 spares, at a cost of about ~750k each), and they haven't had to use it yet. Redbull has honestly had pretty great reliability so far when you look at it. All their early DNF's were minor parts like a fuel pump which is significantly cheaper than a hefty crash.

Whereas Ferrari had to completely replace Sainz's car after the fire which was ~$2 mill pls Sainz crashed at Italy and Miami back to back races with pricey bills.

But either way, all the teams will be doing creative accounting to fit things into the budget. Honestly don't see how the FIA can actually enforce the budget cap tbh.
