Does the CM stay with you all day even for meals? Do you get VIP access to all food things too? lets say you wanted some starbucks and the line was huge would you be able to go to the front? This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

It’s expedited everywhere. LL rides, you go thru there but the staff expedite that lane more often when there’s a VIP host in line. On non LL rides, we’ll walk up to the exit to the front. Flex of the day was Peter Pan ride. Nobody wanted to do it, but they recommended it. I’ve never done it because it’s always 1+ hours line up with a bunch of angry kids waiting that long. Absolute shit show. They recommended it because it’s worth seeing it once to see what it’s about. Walked by all the angry parents from the exit lane, our massive group was in and out in 3 mins. The dirty looks in that line was insane. So ya now I’ve seen the ride I guess. The other lines where I saw angry people was cars. I think the wait time was over 2 hrs when we arrived. We got on the ride in 2 mins.
Cool shit they do, they know all the shortcuts. They know the premium positions for every ride, so the shuffle us to every perfect position before letting others on so we get the best experience. They’ll know when we should mobile order lunch, and reserve seats for us in the public areas. It was a 100% stress free walk the park and ride experience. Wanna ride incredicoaster 5x? That’ll take 30 or so mins. Incredibly efficient.
That said, we were definitely the poors of VIP. Lots of walking so talking to hosts about other clients. The rich will blow 30k on a family of 3, book full 16 hrs of VIP time a day so they’re ready for them whenever they feel like going, and spend 3 or 4 hours max. Another interesting tidbit, the most common clients were employee rewards. Lots of companies buy vip experience as employee family rewards. It’s such a memorable experience compared to the basic bitch experience that the employees won’t stop talking about how great their company is.
Final note, I don’t want to do DW till the kids get older, but vip might change that. There’s no walking. You ride in carts with the hosts. I guess shits about to get expensive.
Yes. You’re paying them 600 per hour per host to eat. Food things see above. Doubt they’ll get Starbucks priority. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Anyways not sure if it’s overpay anymore. I felt like it was worth the money.

Hey, now - it's not easy when we're all smeared in Dole Whip. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
It's so easy to criticize after that fact.
Another decent steakhouse down south... Wellingtons. Along thge same lines as Caesers being quite old school.
Has anyone tried out Tomahawk or whatever its called in the old JackAstors/Fudruckers location?

I just like hearing the Wellington butler say Ladies and Gentlemen, Le Chateau Briand. And watching the mono tone Ratatouille grille master do his thing. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Those poor fuckers in the grill rooms at Wellingtons (and Caesars, etc)This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Wellingtons is legit. The proprietor passed away earlier in the year and I haven't been since to see if they've stayed on their game. Anyone been lately?
Someone mentioned steak in Banff... 1888 is amazing and beats any steak ever cooked in Aspen (on either side of 85th).
Wonder if the crazy exhaust keeps those grill room temperature within reasons. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Just going back and doing some reading, from what I understand, you pay for entry (plus flights and hotels), but this was... $3600 for 7 hours, and you could've had 20 people with you? So roughly $180/h/person if you filled it out? That seems like a killer deal based on what you just described. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

600/hour. 7 hours. $4200 for 10 people. We had more than 10 so paid for 2 ($8400). Then you have to tip them, but we’ll save that for the other thread. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote
Logistics is difficult with a big group because of frequent bathroom breaks, and ride preference. We just mixed rides instead of split because in the end there were only 5 thrill riders, which was surprising. Guess we’re all getting too old for this shit.
